First graders are eager to learn about the world around them! This is the time when their reading and writing skills soar and they are beginning their own research! Nonfiction books and magazines will not only improve their reading skills, they will also give the students opportunities to explore science and social studies concepts. Having access to history, geography, and science will keep students motivated to read and learn! The subscription to Times for Kids will allow us to stay up-to-date on our ever-changing world in an age-appropriate way. The subscription includes magazines for the students, teaching materials, and interactive whiteboard activities!
