My students need texts at their independent reading level! Please help support their literacy growth. During reading power hour we read texts on many levels as my students are reading at STEPS 4-12. These texts include Frog and Toad, Cam Jansen, and Kevin Henkes' texts. I want to use these popular titles in order for students to access books that are relatable and applicable to their lives. These books are great resources to help my students practice specific skills such as character perspective, motivation, and feelings. They will help my students' love of reading and skill in their literacy practice.
