All students deserve the opportunity to learn in a safe space with helpful materials. By providing my students with writing materials such as pencils and notebooks, they are given the opportunity to not only practice their writing skills, but also let their imagination drive their learning. Notebooks in the classroom will be used to complete assignments, and also serve as student journals. My students creativity will shine through when given markers and color pencils. These tools will add color and excitement to lessons within the classroom. By donating to our project, you will be ensuring that each student in the classroom has the materials they need to start the year off strong. This list of materials will not only improve lessons in the classroom, but they will also help foster a positive learning space. Things like bookshelves will help to improve our classroom library, so that students have an area in the classroom to explore books about all of their interest. Project cases will be used to organize lesson materials such as word lists and reading materials for each unit. Also, supplies requested in this project like Lysol wipes, Kleenex, and first aid kits will work towards keeping students safe and healthy all year long. This project also includes tools that will help me keep track of student learning and data. Each of my students is unique, and has a unique learning style. File folders and individual student folders will be used to keep track of student data to ensure they are making progress throughout the school year. Each item on this list will greatly add value to our classroom this year and help us have a positive year.
