Picture a classroom that is not your average classroom; where students are using wobble chairs to help with the wiggles, others are sitting on stools, laying on the floor with clipboards, using comfy floor seats with low tables, or portable lap desk that can be utilized anywhere in the class. You will see a classroom of empowered kids who are actively engaged because choices and movement are encouraged in the learning space. This is the classroom I want my students to experience. Flexible seating will greatly benefit my students as well as address their social, physical and academic needs. Current research has proven it is detrimental to children's physical and mental health when they sit too long. As a result, I want my classroom to meet the needs of all students. Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning and help them make choices that will work best for their individual learning styles. The products that I have selected will help me provide a special classroom that students need and deserve to become successful scholars.
