Hello! I am a second year teacher making a huge change from 4/5th grade to K/1. With that being said, I spent an entire year building a wonderful intermediate classroom library, and I don’t have any books for my kinders and 1st graders. Because Kindergarten and 1st grade are the foundation for a child’s reading, I feel that it is crucial to have a classroom library that has various titles, genres, and reach the wide variety of interests of my students. I remember walking into my 1st grade classroom and seeing so many books on the shelves. I immediately fell in love with reading that year, and that love for reading has never ceased. I want to help my students develop this same love for reading that will last a lifetime, and I am hoping that you can help with my mission!
