I am requesting 1 iPad for the classroom. Having an iPad in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to use apps specifically created to help develop character education. Our school has a high needs for differentiation and authentic learning experiences. The iPad will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build twenty first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. I have seen first-hand how students can use technology in the classroom. I use my laptop often at school to engage my students learning. Using my iPad I am able to share learning videos, music and much more. We have recently begun to use QR Codes in our classroom; an iPad would allow us to use this type of technology even more. Having a dedicated classroom iPad would give my students the ability to access technology and multimedia all day long.
