At this point, my students are stuck in the traditional desk and chair classroom layout, the cemetery layout. These round tables will give them an additional work and collaboration space. Rectangular desks become islands for students, they are not conducive to productive groupings using computers. These tables will create a space for students to stand and get together with others to brainstorm ways to solve their coding problems. I allow my students a lot of classroom freedom and these tables will only give the students more area and room to work. I like to stand and work, I think they would too!
