I was a fifth grade teacher last year and was recently put as a the head 6th grade teacher. I have to completely start over with nothing because everything I had was for my 5th grade classroom. I will have about 25 to 28 students this up coming school year. My classroom room is full of life. I have made sure that my classroom has different encouraging saying to motivate my students. Most of my students where born in the United States, but I do have some students that came to the United States from refugee camps that where in Kenya. Some of the students that came for the camps in Kenya do not speak a lot of English and then I have some students that can speak more than on language. I do have a few that actually speak about 3 or more. Many of my student's do come from low income families. I'm trying to teaching my students the importance of having an education so that they can be very successful in life.
