The 57 Bus is an amazing and relevant book for all adolescents. Not only is the book superb literary quality, but it also opens your mind to the need to embrace diversity and celebrate uniqueness-something our kids need more of-something the world needs more of! The book is engaging and 'real' and students will be able to relate on so many levels. This is the hardest part of teaching literature.
