Creating excitement in learning is the quickest way to get kids to want to learn. Reading and writing are fundamental skills. After Covid my students are behind and I need to find ways to bring their reading and writing up to level. Doing the same things day in and day out become boring especially for children who are not natural readers and writers. I want to bring a flashlight Friday into play by giving each students a flashlight to read within a dark cozy spot in the classroom. They would also love the idea that they could write on a table or respond with their own persona white board. I truly believe this will help my students want to read and write which will in turn make them better readers.

About my class
