Your donation goes towards my students with ADD, ADHD, Autism, or Anxiety having the resources available in the classroom to cope with daily struggles by using fidgets or chair bands during instruction. Students will be able to use chair bands that attach to the bottom part of their chair during small group instruction or during independent working periods. Foot pedals can be easily placed under individual student desks for them to move while working in groups. Giving students different options for sensory fidget provides students with just the right amount of sensory input, to clam their nervous system during whole group, small group or during assemblies. A majority of my student require movement during whole group, small group or during transitions in the classroom. A big factor is having the ability to choose between different movement resources that best suite them during different parts of the day. My students love to learn new things every day. Having the ability to release some of their energy throughout the day is very important in the learning process. Through movement, my students are able to maintain their attention and be successful.
