This kidney table will be used for small group instruction and small group instruction is essential in each classroom. Small group instruction helps bridge the gap between conferring and whole group instruction. It allows students with similar needs to gather together and get the instruction they need to be successful. It gives a more safe and intimate setting where every learner is engaged and has a voice. This table will also allow me to sit close to the students so I am able to hear them while they are reading, aid them as they are writing, and assist with all other needs.
