Our students use the apartment classroom daily to run a coffee program; learn to cook a variety of meals, snacks, and desserts; clean; and wash uniforms for different school sports teams. It is a great learning environment for a variety of skills that they will need after completing school. Our classroom is in need of an overhaul! Our classroom was designed many years ago. Our cabinets need to be replaced as do our counter tops. We have a regular size refrigerator but are in need of a second one or a larger one. I would love to also add a microwave, blender, new pots and pans (the few we have were leftovers from when we had home economics classes), and utensils.
