With reluctant readers in my class, we need an exciting and easy to read a mystery to hook students into liking reading. Help me 'sell' reading to my sixth graders by making this timeless and engaging title available to them at home distance learning or in school! My students come from varied backgrounds, languages, ethnicities, and nationalities with varying degrees of comfort as readers. As an educator, my role is to expose students to the world's many voices through stories. Most of my students describe themselves as students who don't enjoy books. Mysteries are a great way of reaching those reluctant readers and hook them onto reading.
