Our students want to be able to complete dissections in the classroom. With a limited budget, I have only been able to get on websites and show videos of other students completing dissections. When I asked my students what they want to do in STEM to make it exciting, over 75% of them wanted to complete dissections. The supplies listed in the project request are needed to complete 2 labs, one before Christmas and one after Christmas. The second grade will dissect clams and owl pellets, third grade will dissect starfish and earthworms, fourth grade will conquer perch and squid, while fifth graders tackle frogs and small bull sharks.
