With the additional art supplies, I am able to give my students opportunities to explore a wider range of the creative experience. I want my students to be able to do a variety of projects which can help them to enjoy my clsss to a greater extent. It can also spark an interest in the visual arts that can help them to be more interested in the numerous areas of creativity that can be opened to them. By giving them the opportunity to explore and be successful in various areas of creativity is to instill in them the confidence to try other things they may have felt they could not do. There is nothing more satisfying to a teacher is to watch students beam with pride as they accomplish these skills. Some of the supplies I have chosen such as the oil paints and canvases will be used to teach them how to paint with oils. They will learn various techniques such as painting the illusion of atmospheric perspective to give the illusion of depth as well as other techniques. The tape is used to mount the artwork and it is used to mount their pictures for framing and then displayed Some of the supplies I have chosen such as the oil paints and canvases will be used to teach them how to paint with oils.
