My students' learning in a brick and mortar classroom got cut short. One of the things we used to do on Fridays was STEAM. The children looked forward to this every week and worked hard during the week to obtain this reward. I want to be able to provide the opportunity for them to continue STEAM while at home and during the summer. What better way to spend summer then playing outside, reading a good book and being creative? The materials on my list will give each one of my students the chance to continue learning during the summer by being creative with collage beads and yarn laces steam project. Students will also be able to go outside and play with kickballs (ground balls), flying discs/rings, jump ropes and stay hydrated with water bottles. Lastly, my students will each receive a book to read this summer to help the learning continue. With these items, the students will be creative while still enjoying being children. I hope you will help me give my students a fun and interactive summer! Thank you in advance.
