Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn are a few words that describe my students. We are located in a great neighborhood, where our parents try to volunteer as much as possible. The majority of our parents work full time in order to support their kids. The teachers are creative and we treat the children as our own; at times supporting the students financially ourselves when needed. The students are dedicated to learning and are involved in the planning and taking care for their school environment. Many teachers and students are part of the "Green Team" which cares for the new school butterfly garden, participates in Earth Day, as well as participates in the continuous school clean-up throughout the year. We make the learning fun while teaching the standards, yet it is difficult because of the lack of resources. The students are dedicated to learning.
