Florence County was hit by Hurricane Florence. We missed several weeks of school due to this. The loss of instructional time has put my students more at risk and we need to use every available resource to supplement instruction. A Chromebook will assist with fostering an environment that revolves around engagement and academic growth. Many students do not have access to the Internet at home; therefore, a Chromebook will allow students to use current technology in an academic setting. The Chromebook will allow for the use of technology in a manner which encourages learning in a fun and beneficial manner! My students need a Chromebook to provide an opportunity for technology use in the classroom. The Chromebook will be used during rotations, small group instruction, and as an incentive reward for extraordinary behavior and academic progress. A Chromebook will provide an avenue of engagement in my classroom. Today's students benefit from the consistent use of technology. The utilization of technology in the classroom helps to prepare today's learners to become tomorrow's successful leaders!
