My students are preschool age children with a wide range of special and unique needs that range from severe to mild autism spectrum disorders, hearing loss, apraxia, down syndrome, intellectual impairments, rare genetic abnormalities, traumatic brain injury, voice disorders, stuttering, cerebral palsy, general language delays, and children that are non-verbal due their disability or injuries. Although not all of my students are mainstreamed into the general education environment after preschool due to their specific needs, we do prepare all of our students for the high demands of the educational setting.
