When teaching English Language Learners, visuals are important. Therefore, having a document camera and projector in my classroom would enhance learning for all of my students. This technology supports instruction and provides students with the opportunity to access grade level curriculum where they can acquire academic language. Visuals, such as, pictures, videos, class work, enlarging a book for all to see, etc., creates a learning environment where all students, regardless of their language level, are able to interact and connect with what is being taught. A projector and document camera would support this important aspect of instruction and learning, which would allow students to become truly invested in their learning.
