All of my students are bright and capable of learning! I have seen this and believe it wholeheartedly! This is what keeps me going in the midst of challenges. What are the challenges? (1) My students are very behind academically, and I'm still learning to inspire my students to learn at their greatest capacity. I constantly battle their temptation to give up when they feel frustrated with difficult material. (2) 80-90% of my kids receive free or reduced lunch, a blatant indicator of poverty. This poverty translates into a lack of supplies and resources for the classroom. Hence, I set up projects with Donor's Choose to obtain the supplies my students need to learn. Thank you for all of your support!
