My students need to practice fine motor activities such as pincer grasp, using the right amount of glue, and how to hold a pencil the correct way. My students also need to learn life skills such as how to brush their teeth, get dressed with buttons and zippers, and how to tie their shoes. Your help will provide independence as students learn and develop basic life skills. I am going to have centers throughout the school day to accomplish these tasks. I need to build up my resources by purchasing the items in this project. The learning to get dressed kit will help teach them how to button a shirt, tie their shoe, and pull up a zipper. The tongs will guide them in learning how to pick up small objects. The toothbrush demonstration kit allows them to brush their teeth with a larger model.
