I would like to have a class set of book bins for my second graders to be able to store their book selections. I have had two years of teaching experience in other grade levels where this type of storage was not necessary. These types of containers will allow my readers to select a few books at once and store them all in one place. When it is time for them to read independently, students will be able to take their bins to their seat and read through their multiple books while staying seated and quiet. This limits distractions and excuses and helps keep students focused and improving their reading stamina.
