The easily moveable nature of the desks and chairs allows students to manipulate the physical set up of the classroom on a minute by minute basis depending on the individual needs of students. As a math and science teacher it is very important to create a welcoming environment as many students struggle with and have anxiety around their math skills. When students have the ability to quickly and easily change their working environment it allows for more choice, collaboration, and ownership. The desks and chairs will promotes a creative and inclusive environment in the classroom and can positively impact students' perceptions about learning.
