I will be starting at a new school in a few weeks with a new group of students. It is essential to their reader identities that I have a variety of books that will engage all learners! It is equally important to represent multiple ethnic groups and topics such as, segregation, friendship, cultural acceptance, and women empowerment. Things that middle schoolers can relate to and ones that will give them a new perspective! Help us build the classroom library of our dreams! I am hopeful that we can get good books into their hands and challenge their thinking. Please help us in any way you can!
