One of the standard my students will learn this year requires them the understand the natural processes of Earth. One of the process that students struggle to understand is Erosion. Stream tables help the students to visualize a difficult topic. My students will use the stream table to study erosion. The stream table will allow the students to set up a stream and watch the process of erosion in front of them. They will have the ability to understand not only what erosion is but also what factors affect erosion and what can be done to help prevent erosion in areas where it can have a detrimental affect.
