Each of the books selected for my project has been carefully curated by teachers. Project LIT Comm is a grassroots literacy movement that was created by a teacher, and has now grown to be represented in every state in the US. Each book club for Project LIT is run by and for students. The goal is to get high-interest, relevant texts into the hands of students to build a habit of reading, and encourage lifelong learning. Help me ignite a passion for reading in my students, and give them the access they deserve to texts that are relevant, and reflective of their lives.
