If our project is funded, we will be able to create a movement room for students in our building to utilize a multi-sensory room to refocus, promote language development, learning, and leisure to be able to meet all of their sensory needs. We will have a variety of equipment available to provide students with special needs with personalized sensory input. This room will help students with disabilities calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others. The room will be a nice quiet and safe area for our students to feel comfortable and regather themselves when they are having some sensory difficulties or need a break to refocus.

About my class
