These books will engage my students in read alouds, book discussions, and independent reading. Some of the books I included are personal favorites from when I was a student that I know will be exciting for my students as well. Other books I have included focus on growth mindset which is so important for developing persistance, courage, and grit. The set of third grade nonfiction books is essential to our class library in order to provide quality informational texts. My goal is for these students to develop a love for reading that will make them lifelong book worms! I am looking forward to all the amazing reading that will happen this year and the years to come.
