I have found my students learn best when they are doing. They love to think outside of the box and think while communicating. Learning becomes more apparent, and fun, when the students get the opportunity to get messy and actually do an activity. Each of the products requested will do this in the subjects of math, reading, and science. My students need hands-on manipulatives to help make learning concrete. Math manipulatives, reading strategies small group centers, and a science circuit kit will do all this as well as open doors to different interests my students might want to pursue. Many of these manipulatives will also insure that as a community we have shared experiences we can all relate to.
