Flexible seating allows students to work in an environment which is conducive to their learning style. Students can make a choice that allows them to work in a way that helps them focus. Currently my students work at different tables or on a rug during their independent time. Making sure students are comfortable and allowed to move if needed will ensure that they can learn and progress. Many of my students have attention and focus problems that make it difficult for them to sit in traditional chairs and desks all day. Flexible seating will help them as we transition back to in person learning full time.
