All students learn differently. Individualized seating options allows for students to choose how and where they’d like to learn in the classroom. Giving students freedom to choose their flexible seating gives them more opportunities to focus and learn in a way that is suited for them! Being in a classroom for 5-6 hours out of a school day, a typical desk and chair can get quite uncomfortable. Students deserve every opportunity to maximize their learning. Flexible seating options allows for students to move around the room, stand up, move their legs, get their “wiggles” out, etc. all while focusing on what’s important, their learning! The wobble chairs allows for students to still sit at a regular desk, but instead of a traditional chair, they can use the wobble chair to allow for movement without distraction. The floor seats will be used for those students that do not prefer a traditional desk, but rather sit on the floor with a clipboard or lap tray. I chose these particular floor seats since they have a back support. The balance balls allow for the students to sit at a desk or table with something different than a regular chair. The balance ball engages the core muscles, creating a sitting exercise while working.
