I strongly believe classroom environments should be conducive to creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, yet structured and safe. Flexible seating allows for students to have choice and allows students to be in charge of their own learning. Flexible seating not only helps with concentration and feeling safe in the classroom, but it also benefits them in feeling physically more energized in class which in return helps them become more engaged. This project will improve our classroom by creating a comfortable, peaceful and productive learning environment for students to grow and learn in academically, socially and emotionally. The funds will go to non-traditional seating materials and lighting for classroom.

About my class
