Students shouldn't be bound by a plastic chair and desk for an entire school day. They should have the option of sitting where and on whatever makes them comfortable. Some students may choose to lay on a mat on the ground. Some may choose to sit in a camp chair. Some may choose to stand at a table. Some may choose to sit on a stool. By allowing my students several options on what to sit on and where to sit at, we create a comfortable learning environment that is personalized to each individual student who is now focused on learning.
