My students are going to use these Chromebooks quite often. There are many online reading and math programs that I will let my kiddos utilize. Few of these students have access to computers at home. Most of them must visit the sub-par public library in order to access the internet. Having Chromebooks every day at school will allow them to publish their writing projects, research online for various STEM projects, and gain the computer skills necessary to function in today's society. Our school district is low on funds. As of now, there are no computers in my classroom. I take my personal laptop to school every day in order to let the students take turns with it.
