Shared by the character, Jill in the 1972 movie, "Butterflies are Free" our Kindergarten and first grade students want nothing more than this, to be free to explore and learn about the world around them. Their's is not a world of free flying butterflies, but instead is fraught with worry about things that other children might take for granted. Our students come from loving homes, where families work hard, love their children and try to provide the things their children need. We can support them best by providing opportunities that not only enhance the lives of their children but also enrich their educational experience.
