Many of the students come to school with limited energy or motivation to learn. Their little bodies are either drained from not sleeping enough, at times not eating or just having that self confidence. Having to gather themselves to focus to learn can be a hard task on top of their learning disabilities. Our classroom has become our students safe place, where they can display the strengths and weaknesses without feeling the pressure of being on a lower academic level. Every day matters, is celebrated and is a new chance for their minds to develop and create their own journeys of learning with our support. I absolutely love my job because it allows me the opportunity to guide and foster children of all abilities. The smile on their faces when they reach their goals is infectious. Please help be a part of our students path to success while creating a supportive, fun, bright, flexible and safe place to grow.
