These trade books will be used to help expose our students to good literature and non-fiction texts that will be used to support their learning throughout Unit 1 of our new ELA adoption. This will greatly help teachers utilize the program to its fullest. Students need to hear text being read aloud to them. Teachers can be assured that they are reading from quality resources with this collection of books. Kids deserve to live in a print rich environment at school. It will help to instill a love of reading and learning in them. Literacy is important in all aspects of life. Students should not be deprived of resources because of budgetary constraints. Great books are needed for great kids!
