These materials will allow my kindergarten students to learn their letters and sounds in a fun engaging setting. The items in the alphabet tubs will be put into a mystery container. My students will pull out items and feel the items. We will discover the letter and sound associated with these items. The magnetic letters will allow us to identify the letter and how the letter is formed. Later, we will use the magnetic letters to build words. The AlphaBop CD will allow us to hear and move to the alphabet. My students will be so happy to use the new headphones while working on various alphabet computer programs. The headphones will keep the students from being distracted by their friends' activities. The donations to this project will improve my students' phonological awareness with letters and sounds through fun and engaging activities. Students learn best when they are engaged in an activity and having fun. These donations will help my students be successful in learning their letters and sounds by accommodating their different learning modalities.
