Chromebooks will enhance my students learning. Many of my high school students reading on an elementary level. I am working on building their confidence, while trying to interest them in reading. My students struggle with a lot of day to day activities and reading is at times just too hard. There are many wonderful reading programs available on-line that would be beneficial for my students. Most of my students do not have access to technology or Wi-Fi at their homes. When my students have projects to complete, many are done throughout the school day in the media center or computer lab. This at times makes it difficult for those students with disabilities to get to the lab to get started. If we had classroom Chromebooks, my students would not have to leave the comforts of their own classroom to complete this task. My students want the same opportunities as their "regular educated" students have.
