After being at home due to COVID where it is the norm to lay on the floor or across the couch to get work completed, coming back to school has been challenging for many of my scholars. They have been normed to work while being comfortable, which is how the classroom should be set up! Children are in this space daily and I would like to create a space where students can be excited to learn and be comfortable all in one. Currently, in my class, there are roughly 30 students a block. We do not have any flexible seating options available. I have gotten creative where I allow students to sit on their desks for a change, however, being able to provide an assortment of seating for students to choose from would increase daily attendance and student engagement!
