My classes will be learning about and making homemade spinach pasta. We will learn about the different types of flour and the protein content of each. We will compare and contrast the nutritional value and prices of store bought and our homemade pasta. The donations included will not only help my students develop life skills they will also help my students pursue careers in the culinary field. We will be making our own pasta sauce to go along with the noodles. We currently have all the equipment needed to complete this experience except for these pasta makers and drying racks.
