This carpet will be used to define our class meetings and gatherings. This is a place where we meet and plan the day using the calendar. We talk about the future and we talk about the past shared experiences. Carpets like this one allow you to also make a circle and pass around objects for observation. We often sit knee-to-knee and have guided partner shares. This is where the important things happen and are shared in a kindergarten class.
