Hello! I am a first grade teacher at Picolata Crossing Elementary, a school in St. Augustine, Florida. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017, and moved right after graduation to a new state for a new start! I entered St. Johns County with a job as an Associate Teacher at LPA, and the following year I earned my own first grade classroom at Picolata. PCE is honestly the best school I have had the luck of teaching in. I am blessed to have a set of students I adore along with a staff and colleagues that support me as a new teacher. However, being a new teacher, there are an abundance of things I find myself in need for in order to reach my students to the best of my ability. From clipboards to books for my library, I am always feeling as though there is always something else I should give my students to help them grow. My students are my heart and I continue to love my job more and more every day.
