In our Humanities class we will be using project-based learning in order to master key concepts in the classroom. The construction paper will be useful for our several projects used to garner engagement in the classroom. The pencil boxes will house the pens, pencils, sharpies and highlighters that the students will use daily to complete their work. The electric pencil sharpener will be helpful in the times the pencil breaks and keep efficient use of instructional time. All of the materials provided play an integral role in the planning, processing and completion of these projects. These everyday items seem minuscule but make a major difference in the classroom when students do not have them. Movement is a key part of our classroom, and the clipboards allow our students to move about the classroom while maintaining their ability to continue learning. These simple items will make the biggest difference in many of my students' lives as they won't have to worry about receiving negative points in classes for not being prepared.
