These suitable leveled tables and chairs will make a tremendous difference in our kindergarten classroom! They will be used for students to come together to work cooperatively during small group centers and/or receive individualized teacher instruction. The kidney styled tables enable all three teachers in the classroom to access each student appropriately during small groups and at each of their individual learning levels. The furniture we currently have in the classroom is quite cumbersome and at times can interfere with instruction, which can make learning very difficult for our students! The seat pockets will allow for storage of learning materials and also help to keep the children organized! They will make a world of a difference in keeping the tables free of clutter and materials that are not being used, thus allowing the students to stay focused on the teacher and the task at hand! Classroom organization is so important, especially in kindergarten where novice students are just beginning to learn personal organization and responsibility for their learning materials. This classroom is specifically designed for students that have been diagnosed with autism. By donating to our project, you would aid in creating an environment that supports the explicit and targeted learning needs of this student population.
