Students will use Chromebooks to help enhance their art. From creating videos while using green screens to stop motion animation and even potentially 3D printing one day! Students are so intrigued by technology already and they love art. Adding Chromebooks to the classroom would be the perfect opportunity to incorporate their love of technology and art together. Art can touch all the senses and now students can incorporate their natural love of technology into more traditional arts. Students could record their voices and have their piece of art to speak! The number of project ideas that include technology are endless. As a mom of a 5th grader myself I see how technology gets a bad reputation. Even sometimes I myself have to take my daughter's phone away. I feel that as a teacher it is my responsibility to help students learn how to use technology responsibly and balance it with traditional ways for the best application.
