Being on the cutting edge of learning means that my kiddos need to have access to the latest technology. These materials allow my students to make use of websites and integrated tech that furthers their thinking and connects them to a world of outside resources. In my classroom, my students are investigating and making meaning of their surroundings, while developing skills to be change makers in their community. Although they come to school ready and excited to learn, not all students have access to the materials that set them up for success. Colored pencils, notebooks and headphones grant them the tools needed to make the most out of their learning. Individual headphones allow my students to focus on their own learning. Velcro strips placed under their desks offer my students a tool to keep their hands busy and their minds sharp during work time.
