This new classroom décor and organization tools are going to make for a bright and colorful learning community! Students will be able to move around the class room in an organized manner, and learning time will not be lost due to my looking for and carrying around buckets of guided group materials. Students will be excited to come to school each day and learn in such a colorful and welcoming environment. My students will love practicing building and reading sight words with the magnetic trays and know exactly where to find their leveled readers for independent and partner reading opportunities. When we are learning on the floor, my students will be able to use clipboards to record their thoughts and responses to classroom conversations and questions. Collectively, my project will allow me to create a learning environment for not what I just see as my students, but for students whom I see as part of my family. Throughout my years at my school, I have taught over 540 students each of whom have left an imprint on my soul, and now I would like to give 27 new little souls the opportunity to learn in the best learning environment possible.
